Store Policy

Lost Envelope launched in 2024 with the introduction of eco-friendly, modern wallpaper designs.

All of our wallpaper products are printed after order placement by one of our manufacturing partners based in Durham, North Carolina. All products are made in the USA.

To assist you with visualizing your finished project for your needs and space, we highly encourage ordering a swatch to test the look and feel of an item before committing to the full product, as colors can vary from screen to paper. Wallpaper test swatches are 12” x 24” in size and are the same scale and repeat as a full roll.

Wallpaper designs are printed digitally on large format printers using non-toxic, vegan, water-based inks. As all items are made to order we do not keep a regular inventory in the usual sense of the word, but any design for sale is essentially “in stock,” since we physically create it when you order.

Cancelations are accepted within 1 hour of order placement. Because every order is custom printed we are unable to offer order cancelations after 1 hour of order placement. Returns, exchanges, or refunds are not accepted unless there is a flaw/defect or damage to the product received. You have 30 days from when your order has shipped to let us know if there’s an issue. Please check your order promptly after you receive it to avoid missing the window.

Most of our wallpaper images in our listings are computer generated renderings, not actual photos, that provide a visual example of how the design will look on the product. All wallpaper designs are created without the use of AI.
